Torsdag ettermidag sjekket vi ut fra Union Island Clifton og Anchorage Yacht Club og satt seil med kurs for Carriacou. Hillsborough som er “byen” paa oeya har innsjekking (toll og emigrasjon) til Grenada som oeya tilhoerer, og papirarbeid og formaliteter maa til, ellers blir det braak. 
Hilsborough har ingen marina eller annen kaifasilitet for oss seilere, saa det ble anker og etter gummibaaten paa vannet entert vi piren som fergene kommer til fra Grenada. Det var en grei og rask innsjekking selv om vi denne gangen maatte til emigrasjonskontoret foerst foer vi kunne gaa til tollen. Det var like foer stengetid, moerket var ikke langt unna og vi skulle videre til nattens planlagte ankringsted Tyrrel Bay hvor vaare seilervenner Aud og Bjoern Inge i ABIM allerede hadde ankret opp. Det ble derfor bare en kort tur bort og tilbake i hovedgata og selv om den ikke var saa lang hadde den mange interessante smaa butikker og kokken fant den ilfaste forma hun hadde vaert paa jakt etter i lang tid.
Paa veien til Tyrrel Bay passert vi Sandy Island som etter hva vi har faatt anbefalt skal vaere veldig flott for snorkling. Oya var bare en “sandstrand” med noen palmer paa og i etterkant har vi lest at det skyldes en orkan for et par aar siden som rasket med seg det som var av oevrig vegetasjon.
Tyrrel Bay var mer attraktiv enn vi hadde trodd og det var nesten like trangt som i Le Marine paa Martinique, men bare nesten…
Etter en hyggelig bursdagsfeiring med ABIM, et amerikansk seilerpar (det var hun som hadde bursdag)og et kanadisk par, ble det tidlig kveld.
I dag har vi vaert inne paa oeya en tur men maa lenger i morgen. Da er det deres “17mai” dag og det er stor festivitas med masse god mat og musikk.
Som paa Bequia (ferger fra Stavangerske +Austraat fra ???), Union Island (Moere og Romsdalsferge), fant vi sannelig en her ogsaa, Melfjor av Bodoe. Saa det er ikke bare i Spania vi normenn sender vaare pensjonister.
Naa lukter det middag, moerket har seget paa, flagget maa tas ned og det betyr at dere faar ha det bra for denne gang.
